Due to my infidelity being on the road some 15 years ago, my wife developed a smell and pain from intercourse. So we almost stopped then eventually stopped because of my Ed I think from guilt. She would shower and in 12 to 24 hours later I couldn't walk behind her the heavy heavy smell of dead fish was overwhelming. She would wash everytime I would mention you better go wash I can smell you. She would a tribute this to getting older but I was suspicious reading online about the symptoms. It's been so long how would I bring it up or should I go get tested to see? When times I tryed to initiate sex her pain and the smell prevented me from trying further. So now I'm at a loss on what to do on how to fix this, I would like us to be cured from my stupid actions and behavior putting us at risk for more dangerous infections.

Could you please address the fact that prep blocks the enzyme that protects telomeres, the shortening of which increases the aging process, therefore shortening lifespan. This seems to be overlooked and was not mentioned to me at all when I started using prep. People need to be able to make informed choices. This fact seems to have been neglected in all of the literature available.

Yes, scabies-like mites exist in many animals (dogs, cats, livestock, wildlife).

In animals it’s often called mange, caused by related but host-specific mites.

Animal mites can irritate human skin but usually don’t set up a full scabies infestation in people.

No, scabies is not an insect problem and is not spread by insects like bedbugs or fleas.

Life cycle of human scabies:

Egg → larva → nymph → adult, about 10–14 days total from egg to adult.

The female lives weeks in the skin, laying eggs in burrows.

Off the body, mites survive a couple of days at most.

The article is somewhat helpful. My challenge is being "supportive" because the same energy & effort used to lie, cheat, manipulate & deceive me. All of a sudden my compassion & empathy needs to be shown to them to understand the "root" cause? No Sir! There is a thing called accountability, which we all need to have. It's one thing to be told about these desires to make an "informed" decision. But loving, and/or marrying someone that KNOWS of their lifestyle, KNOWS they can harm them through sex, KNOWS the devastation it can lead to and STILL do it to protect "Self?"

Nope. This article needs to gear more towards the victim. Because the DL is gonna be alright & find another victim. While the person they destroyed has to deal with the trail of devastation behind. JMO.
