My challenge is being “supportive” because the same energy & effort used to lie, cheat, manipulate & deceive me. All of a sudden my compassion & empathy needs to be shown to them to understand the “root” cause? No Sir! There is a thing called accountability, which we all need to have. It’s one thing to be told about these desires to make an “informed” decision. But loving, and/or marrying someone that KNOWS of their lifestyle, KNOWS they can harm them through sex, KNOWS the devastation it can lead to and STILL do it to protect “Self?”

Nope. This article needs to gear more towards the victim. Because the DL is gonna be alright & find another victim. While the person they destroyed has to deal with the trail of devastation behind. JMO.
